I said no to weddings for the longest time, for many reasons. One day, a client gave me no option, but to say yes with her encouraging/motivating words. Today, they are one of my most absolute favorite days to capture. The energy felt on wedding day is indescribable. The love, laughter, tears, smiles, it’s all so contagious. When Denise reached out to me about capturing her son’s big day, I was ecstatic. This wedding was taking place at the most gorgeous venue, with a stunning bride and groom, and lovely family and friends. From start to end this wedding was epic. I had a blast laughing alongside the friends/family of the bride and groom. I treasured every second capturing the Smith’s happily ever after. I pray that God will bless their marriage, always. Thank you again for allowing me to capture such a special day.

In a moment of doubt, a spark was quickly ignited in my heart. Photography has been a way to express my creativity and tell a story without using any words. Every session, my mission is to capture the raw, genuine moments between loved ones. Marshall and Melissa made my mission an easy one. Their love was evident from the start of our session. I am so humbled that these two spent eight hours on the road so that I could capture their love story. They didn’t know it, but the moment they arrived until the moment they left, I felt a renewed sense of confidence. Thank you Marshall and Melissa for trusting me to capture your story. Whooo! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged and no doubt, I’ve missed it! Being a mom, teacher, photographer, wife, and friend is no small task. It’s so important to take a minute to catch your breath. All you grammar peeps, I’m apologizing in advance. I’m just going to type and I’m sure there will be plenty of mistakes. What is life without them? OH! I have big news to share (excuse my squirrel brain), OUR FAMILY IS GROWING!

We are over the moon! The arrival of our new addition is highly anticipated. Josiah is going to make the sweetest big brother. He’s already spoiling me with daily belly kisses. I can’t wait to witness the bond he’ll share with his baby brother/sister. I made the decision to dedicate this blog to my family as well as my clients. We’re all just going through this beautiful, sometimes hectic (who am I kidding? mostly hectic) life together. Expect to see mommy posts, photography posts, faith posts, as well as education posts on this blog. Those are some of the most important things to me! I want to share my passions with you all. I also want to give you some behind the scenes in the life of Ariel Raquel. I’m soaking in every second of the current season my family is experiencing. I can’t wait to share more! Coming Soon….. you know if I’m not chasing my four year old around, editing photos, or teaching Science to the coolest littles in all the land.
